Lauterbrunnen
Lauterbrunnen (796 m), the lively centre at the entrance to the valley, with its famous landmark, the sparkling Staubbach Waterfall. Lauterbrunnen - where amazing mountain railways begin their climb through some of Europe's most stunning scenery. Unforgettable excursions are the spectacular Trümmelbach glacier waterfalls inside the mountain (from April to November), the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe (highest train station of Europe) or the Schilthorn/Piz Gloria (360° panorama with revolving restaurant). In summertime, there are many possiblities for hiking and biking, leading to the "most beautiful spots on earth" - Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau are always visible, of course! Skiing, sledding, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoe hiking, ... are the powerful activities in Winter in the Jungfrau Top Ski Region. Lauterbrunnen has 930 inhabitants, with 1030 beds in 9 hotels, 53 holiday apartments, 5 hostels for group accommodation and 2 camping sites.
Isenfluh
Isenfluh (1084) - a simple, secluded mountain village. In summer, a delightful departure point for hikes to the romantic Suls- and Soustal and the Lobhörner peaks. In winter, tempting toboggan runs provide plenty of thrills.
Isenfluh has just 80 inhabitants, one hotel with 10 beds and 5 holiday apartments.
Stechelberg
Stechelberg - a peaceful holiday resort at the far end of the valley. In summer, many hiking trails take you deep into the extensive nature reserve. In winter, Mürren, the winter sports paradise, is only a few minutes away with the Schilthorn Aerial Cableway.
Stechelberg has 300 inhabitants and offers 265 beds in 4 hotels / mountain hostels, 22 holiday apartments and 2 camping sites.
